What We Offer

Debridement

A person in a dental chair smiling with a dental mirror and tweezers, wearing blue gloves, during a dental examination or procedure.

Debridement, also known as scaling, is the professional removal of plaque, tartar (calculus), and stain from above and below the gumline. This treatment helps prevent cavities and gum disease, reduces inflammation, and supports healthy teeth and gums. The amount of scaling required varies from patient to patient and is tailored to your individual oral health needs.

Polish & Fluoride

‍ A complete dental hygiene cleaning is designed to keep your teeth and gums healthy. Your appointment includes professional scaling to remove plaque and tartar, polishing to remove surface stains and leave your teeth feeling smooth, and a fluoride treatment to help strengthen enamel and protect against cavities.

Every treatment is tailored to your individual oral health needs.

Dental Radiographs

Dental radiographs (X-rays) are an important diagnostic tool that help us evaluate areas of your oral health that cannot be seen during a visual examination alone. They allow us to assess the health of your teeth, bone, and supporting structures, monitor changes over time, and identify concerns such as bone loss, tartar below the gumline, or other conditions that may require further evaluation. Radiographs are only taken when clinically necessary and are used to help provide safe, thorough, and individualized dental hygiene care.

Dental Hygiene Exam

A dental hygiene examination is an important part of maintaining your oral health. During your visit, your licensed dental hygienist will complete a thorough assessment of your teeth, gums, and overall oral health to identify any areas of concern and create a personalized treatment plan.

Your examination may include:

  • A review of your medical and dental history

  • An assessment of your teeth and gums

  • Gum measurements (periodontal charting)

  • An oral cancer screening

  • Evaluation of plaque, tartar, and areas of inflammation

  • Assessment of existing restorations and overall oral health

  • Digital X-rays, when clinically indicated

  • Personalized home care recommendations

This comprehensive assessment helps us detect concerns early, monitor changes over time, and provide the preventive care needed to keep your smile healthy. If we identify any findings that require diagnosis or treatment by a dentist, we will discuss them with you and recommend appropriate follow-up care.
